Angel says goodbye to Hetauda
Namaste, mere naam Angel ho🙏🏼
Nepal's past is quite turbulent, still recovering from the 2015 earthquakes.
And confusing for us is their calendar. Upon landing I found out that 3 days later, they were celebrating the new year 2081. And that their 9 is our 1. Good start, a few days to adapt at the Si Asha school in Lalitpur, until the little ones started the course again. .
Its flag, the only one in the world that did not adopt the rectangular format. It preserves the symbols of the sun and the moon that, representing Hinduism and Buddhism, bathe these lands in rituals in which they have coexisted and hope to continue coexisting.
In the midst of the chaos of this great city of festivals, is the second school of the Familia de Hetauda foundation. Making it possible for dozens of children to receive an education adapted to their mental and physical conditions, giving them a refuge, for some even a home.
Waiting for a change in the system that governs us to make it more fair,
We need more people like the ones who have made this possible. Aina, I hope in the near future you can expand this beautiful project to each province of Nepal.
Ashisna Miss, a pleasure to work with you. I hope that after this experience you feel that it has brought you as many learnings as I have taken back.
